Privacy
goagentdata is a non-commercial blog and open-source toolkit run by one private individual in Israel, named on our Contact page, who is responsible for the data described here ("we"). Contact: contact@goagentdata.com.
What we collect and why
Visit counting. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page loads and page speed without cookies. We also log simple site events (event name, post or stage, page path) with nothing about you in them.
Forms. The newsletter form and the contact form use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. It checks signals such as your IP address and browser. To stop repeated submissions, we keep a coded (hashed) version of your IP address for 24 hours.
Contact form. We store your name, email and message, and forward them to our Gmail inbox so we can reply.
Newsletter. We store your email, its status, and when you signed up and confirmed. You confirm by email first. We send at most one email a week about site updates, and every email has an unsubscribe link. We don't track opens or clicks.
Other platforms. We cross-post to dev.to, Hashnode, Medium, Substack, Reddit and Indie Hackers. We read public stats and public comments there (handle and text) so we can reply, and we don't combine them with site data.
Your browser. We set no cookies. If you use the theme switch, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage, on your device only.
Fonts. For now, pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your IP address and browser details reach Google when you visit. We are moving the fonts onto our own server.
We don't run ads, sell data, or build profiles.

Legal basis (EU and UK visitors)
Visit counting, bot protection and replying to comments: our legitimate interest in running a small, secure blog. Newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Contact form: answering your request.
Who else handles data
- Cloudflare (hosting, database, analytics, bot protection)
- Resend (newsletter delivery, sent from the EU)
- Google (Gmail inbox for contact messages, and fonts for now)
- Anthropic (an AI assistant that helps draft replies to public comments)
These are US companies and data may be processed in the US. They process it for us under their data protection terms. Cloudflare also uses Turnstile signals to improve its own bot detection.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email contact@goagentdata.com and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to Israel's Privacy Protection Authority or, in the EU or UK, your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you think a child signed up, tell us and we'll delete it.
Changes
We'll update the date below when this page changes. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll tell subscribers by email first.
